2012: Advocacy and Events Celebrating 100 Years of Arts and Culture in Arizona

2012 marks 100 years of statehood for Arizona and we know that arts and culture have been a vital part of our first 100 years as a state. This spring we need you to participate in a number of events and advocacy opportunities. First on the list is Arts Congress 2012, Tuesday, February 7th, 2012. This year we will be at the capitol, advocating for and celebrating arts and culture in Arizona. We need you to register today to participate in Arts Congress and meet with your elected officials on February 7th, 2012.Register for Arts Congress and read more about the history of Arts Congress. Remember that you must register before January 31st, 2012 in order to secure your spot in small team meetings.

On Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 please join AzCA and arts and culture organizations around the state at the 2012 Governor's Arts Awards. This hallmark event of the arts and culture community will be held at the Herberger Theatre in downtown Phoenix.
